A woman was arrested, accused of vandalizing a Tesla Cybertruck in Kensington last week with garbage and a brick that contained antisemitic markings.
Police say the incident happened outside a yeshiva Monday evening before the suspect took off on a scooter.
Police say Natasha Cohen faces hate crime charges along with assault, harassment and criminal mischief.
It comes just weeks after
a similar incident in Bed-Stuy where police say people carved swastikas and the word “Nazi” into the door of a Tesla Cybertruck.
News 12 spoke with people in the area, like Hannah Kopcky, who are deeply saddened by the hate.
"It's terrible. It's tragic that people feel so emboldened to treat others that way," said Kopcky.
