2h agoBrooklyn residents flocked to Coney Island on Monday to enjoy the hottest day of the year so far.
"It's one of my favorite beaches. I love the crazy. I love the action. I love the food," said Julia, a Coney Island resident who came to enjoy the beach.
Monday's warm weather was also an early treat for businesses along the boardwalk.
"It's amazing, amazing, I'm happy," said Aron, who works at Salt & Sizzle. "Usually, up until now it was pretty slow."
