A Brooklyn drill rapper has been sentenced for directing and participating in gang shootings.
Michael Williams, 27, also known as Sheff G, pleaded guilty Wednesday to attempted murder and conspiracy charges.
The Brooklyn district attorney says many of the acts of violence were captured on surveillance videos. The DA says the defendants boasted about the criminal activities on social media and in text messages, discussing acts of violence and taking credit for shootings and an assault.
As News 12 has reported, Sheff G and fellow Brooklyn drill rapper Sleepy Hallow joined President Donald Trump during his May 2024 campaign rally in the South Bronx.
