Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso has launched his bid for Congress in New York’s 7th District. The 7th District houses parts of Brooklyn and Queens currently represented by Congresswoman Nydia Velázquez. Velázquez has announced she was not going to seek re-election in 2026. Reynoso has been endorsed by four City Council members involved in the district: Jen Gutiérrez, Sandy Nurse, Shekar Krishnan and Lincoln Restler.
