Two of the most iconic teams in baseball will face off in the World Series for the first time in 43 years: the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees.
News 12’s Noëlle Lilley spoke to excited fans who say they are bracing for traffic and congestion.
Local vendors also say they expect an increase in business. Many saw successful sales the last time “The Bronx Bombers” played the “Boys in Blue" in the regular season.
Game 1 is Friday, Oct. 25 at 8:08 p.m. and Bronx residents will have to brace for those crowds on Monday, Oct. 28 when the Yankees host the Dodgers for Game 3.
