The New York City Department of Health (DOH) confirmed the Legionnaires’ disease outbreak in the Bronx has grown to eight confirmed cases as of Saturday morning.
According to officials, the cluster is in parts of Melrose and Morrisania, including ZIP codes 10451 and 10456.

said Thursday that five people in the South Bronx had been diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease and that one person had died. As of Saturday, the number of reported cases had risen to eight.
