Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced an indictment in a fatal shooting in Starlight Park.
Ronell Marte was cutting through the park on his way home from work on Sept. 4 when he was robbed of his cellphone and fatally shot in the chest.
Clark says the duo is also charged in a gunpoint robbery committed, "minutes earlier a half mile away."
Marte's family told News 12 the 26-year-old had autism and was working on his associate’s degree. D.A. Clark says she will do everything she can to bring Marte's family justice.
Police say 19-year-old Luis Alberto Lopez Castillo turned himself into the 43rd Precinct Monday and 20-year-old Axel Martinez, the accused shooter, was arrested Sept. 18.
Lopez Castillo and Martinez are due back in court on Jan. 29.
