A British man is scheduled to appear in Rockland County Court today, more than two years after he left the country following a serious crash in Blauvelt.
Thomas Robb is facing charges, including assault, in the July 2022 crash. He is accused of driving the wrong way on Greenbush Road and then onto Route 303, hitting one car that then hit another.
Two children were left in critical condition as a result of the crash.
Robb left the country after being released on bail, prompting a judge to issue a warrant for his arrest. The Rockland District Attorney's Office worked with the Department of Justice to have him extradited.
Robb was eventually arrested and has been brought back to Rockland to face the charges against him.
