A Somerville man faces criminal charges for a bias incident at a mosque in Bridgewater.
Police say Julian Dale, 29, was seen driving a black Honda Civic onto the property of the Al Falah Center on July 19 at 6:34 p.m.
According to authorities, Dale parked near the entrance then left shortly after. At 7 p.m., they say an employee found bias graffiti spray painted on a pillar near the main entrance of the building.
Dale was arrested a couple of days later on Monday, and he was taken to Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing. He was charged with fourth-degree bias intimidation and a disorderly person’s offense of criminal mischief.
