A Bridgeport woman has been arrested in connection to an assault with a knife that happened over the weekend, police say.
According to officers, 32-year-old Abrnalesa Orellano cut a man on the neck on Donald Court and Eckart Street at 8:47 a.m. on Sunday.
Police say the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Orellano was taken into custody on Sunday and charged with the following:
- 2nd degree assault
- Carjacking
- Interfering with an officer/resisting arrest
- Reckless driving
No word yet on what led to the knife assault.
