Bridgeport Mayor Joe Ganim says he's happy the Bridgeport Charter Revision Commission has finalized its recommendations to update the city's charter.
"I'm just happy this charter revision process now will go to the voters in November. It will allow voters to clean up and modernize the Bridgeport city charter and enhance areas like ethics," Ganim says. "It will be on the ballot for people to vote on. It will modernize the city charter and bring up to date the ethics that are required now in city government."
The charter is the city constitution that outlines the structure of local government.
