Roller coaster temperatures as we say goodbye to February and hello to March in Connecticut

Cooler temperatures for your Friday with highs in the mid to upper 40s, still above normal by a few degrees. We'll also see sunny skies.

Breezy winds today will help dry us out, but they become even stronger over the weekend. March comes in like a lion this weekend. There is another chance of some light showers early Saturday before temperatures fall off the cliff for Sunday. Wind chills will be in the single digits Sunday morning and again Monday morning.
The colder temperatures will stick around for the early part of next week before another warmup arrives by Wednesday. There will also be more rain accompanying those warmer temperatures next week.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy. High 47.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny, risk of rain showers early. High 52.
SUNDAY: Sun and clouds, breezy and colder. High 33.
        MONDAY: Mostly sunny. High 34.
TUESDAY: Early sun, late clouds. High 46.
