The FDNY says that it recovered a body from the water Thursday morning. The person was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

News 12 was one of the first to arrive at the scene and saw the emergency response behind a home on Husson Avenue.

Homeowners tell News 12 that the FDNY attempted to resuscitate what appeared to be a woman in her 40s.
