The nonprofit organization DNA Doe Project says a woman found dead in Tennessee was from Connecticut.

Forty-year-old Mary Alice Maloney was living in the Nashville area before her disappearance in 2007.

Police found her body in a wooded area 18 years ago.

There was no clothing at the scene, but some jewelry was found.

The DNA Doe Project created a profile based on the DNA and was able to identify Maloney after 18 years.
