        BITTER BLAST: Frigid temps overnight into Monday in the Hudson Valley

        Temperatures are well below normal to start December. News 12 is tracking a system that could bring rain or snow midweek.

        OVERNIGHT: Mostly clear and bitterly cold with weaker winds. Lows in the 20s.
        MONDAY: Mostly sunny with highs near 40. Lows in the 20s.
        TUESDAY: Sun and clouds with highs near 40. Lows in the 20s.
        WEDNESDAY: A mix of sun and clouds with a low risk for mixed snow and rain showers overnight. Highs around 40 degrees.
        THURSDAY: Windy and clearing out by the afternoon. Highs in the mid-40s but dropping overnight.
        LATE WEEK: Very cold. Keeping an eye on a disturbance for next weekend, but we are keeping the forecast dry and cold next weekend for now.
