Best Buy has officially returned to Hartsdale with the opening of a new store at 393 N. Central Ave.

Employees welcomed shoppers during the grand opening celebration on Friday, which featured music, refreshments and product demonstrations.

The new location comes after Best Buy closed its former Hartsdale store at 299 N. Central Ave. last spring.

A company spokesperson said the new Hartsdale location is a better fit because Best Buy's larger Yonkers store on Central Park Avenue reduced the need for a larger space in Hartsdale.

Store leaders say customers can expect the same level of service the company is known for.

The store is open five days a week and is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
