A Wall Township music teacher has hung up his baton and retired after more than 55 years of teaching.

Leslie Hollander had been with Wall High School since 1969.

Members of the school says that Hollander was the one who built and expanded the district’s instrumental music program into the elementary schools and Intermediate School while also inspiring generations of students.

Hollander has been praised for his extraordinary commitment throughout the years.
