Welcome to a comfortable August night. Storm-free and not muggy. Enjoy it with the windows open.
It's an extended stay of sunny and 80-degree weather with comfortable humidity. It's one of the top summer weekends so far.
The only issue will be rip currents for swimmers at the shore. There is a high risk of dangerous rip currents developing through Saturday at 8 p.m.
Waves will break at 2 to 5 feet with a short-period swell of 5 to 7 feet. This can make for minor beach erosion and dangerous swimming conditions this Saturday.
Other than that, the next week ahead looks tremendous. Go ahead and plan some fun outdoor activities. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s.
Tonight: Clear and comfy. Lows near 64.
Tomorrow: “Sun-sational.” Be aware of the high rip current risk into the afternoon. High of 81.
Sunday: Sunny. High of 85.
Monday: Sunny and warmer. High of 87.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs near 85.
Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Highs near 84.
Thursday: Sun then clouds. High of 83.
