Officials say a barn that housed a workshop in Fort Montgomery was destroyed in a weekend fire that also spread to two nearby homes.
Viewer video sent to News 12 captured the heavy smoke and flames Sunday, at approximately 3:40 p.m., from Mine Dock Road. The Fort Montgomery Fire Department also gave News 12 photos showing heavy fire and the large response, which included mutual aid from eight departments.
Authorities say first-responding firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading further. They say an electrical problem may be to blame but that the cause remains under investigation.
No one was injured, according to officials.
Officials say the damages are minor to the two homes impacted by the --.
