Baby deer freed from fence in Rockland County

Rockland Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation worked alongside the Suffern Volunteer Fire Department to free the fawn.

A baby deer stuck in a fence was rescued Wednesday night in Rockland County with help from local responders.
Rockland Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation worked alongside the Suffern Volunteer Fire Department to free the fawn.
A wildlife worker kept the animal calm while firefighters moved the bars of the fence so it could slip out safely.
