FORECAST:
The cold front has moved through the area and drier, less humid air will eventually take over western Connecticut starting into Friday.
The summer heat is still here, but it won't feel as bad for Friday or even Saturday.
The sunshine will also be back and that will stick around for several days.
Over the weekend, temperatures will heat up again.
By Sunday, temperatures are back in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
It will feel more like the lower 90s with the added humidity.
There is a slight risk of a shower or storm later Sunday with a cold front that will pass through the area.
At this point, it doesn't look like much and most areas will just see some clouds.
Showers and storms could pop back up Tuesday and Wednesday with cooler temperatures for next week.
