An Atlantic City man pleaded guilty Monday to burglary, theft, drug and assault charges, authorities said.
Jack Ruth, also known as Eugene Bolan, 54, pleaded guilty May 11 to burglary, theft, possession with intent to distribute CDS and simple assault, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The plea calls for Ruth to serve three years in New Jersey State Prison.
Authorities said the charges stem from multiple incidents in Atlantic City, including the theft of a running vehicle from the valet area at Caesars Hotel and Casino on Aug. 29, 2022, and a vehicle burglary at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino on Dec. 28, 2022.
Prosecutors said Ruth was also arrested after Atlantic City police executed a search warrant at his home on Dec. 3, 2025, and found methamphetamine, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.
Ruth was also charged in a March 2026 domestic-violence incident after a woman reported that he slapped her in the face twice during a verbal altercation, prosecutors said.
Sentencing is scheduled for June 18.
