A warrant has been issued for a private school teacher in Westchester after he failed to appear in court.

Officials say that he likely fled the country.

Prosecutors say Nils Koehler is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 14-year-old student at the German International School in White Plains.

The 27-year-old was arraigned last week.

He was scheduled to return to court Tuesday but did not show up, prompting a judge to issue the warrant.

A temporary order of protection has also been issued for the student.
