State regulators are preparing to reconsider the proposed sale of Aquarion to the Regional Water Authority.

Representatives from Ridgefield, Trumbull and other towns joined Attorney General William Tong yesterday at a rally opposing the deal.

PURA initially denied the sale, but a judge has ordered the agency to take another look.

Officials at the event said they believe a sale would raise rates for customers.
