Grey and gloomy conditions all day long. Some areas of northern New Jersey were locked into a consistent, pesky drizzle, while the southern end of the state got a decent soaking.
That weather system moves away and very cold-than-normal air for this time of year moves in for the next 48 hours. Nighttime lows should be around 41, and daytime highs should be around 60.
Lows tonight through Wednesday morning will be in the upper 20s to low 30s and daytime highs will only be in the upper 40s. That is 15 to 20 degrees cooler than the norm. Spring hijinks at its finest. At least Tuesday and Wednesday will be filled with sunshine.
Those beautiful bright skies will eventually duck behind a curtain of clouds for the end of the work week. More showers are likely picking back up late Thursday evening and continuing through to Saturday. It's dreary, but it is helping the drought situation.
