An apartment superintendent in Aberdeen was arrested after police say he entered residents' homes and stole personal belongings.
Aberdeen police are now asking residents of Heritage Square Apartments to check their homes for anything that might be missing.
"We strongly encourage all Heritage Square residents to check their apartments and personal belongings for any missing or unaccounted-for items, particularly jewelry and other valuables," police said on social media.
Nicholas Brent, the superintendent at the complex, was arrested following allegations that he "unlawfully" entered apartment units using his access to the property. According to police, he allegedly stole personal items from residents, including jewelry.
Police are advising anyone who believes they may have been a victim of the thefts to contact the Aberdeen Police Department.
