Annual 'Turkey Shoot' takes place in Oceanside
Every Thanksgiving, Oceanside students and Oceanside Community Service join forces to ensure those in need have a Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings.

53m agoThe “Turkey Shoot” is a yearly tradition in Oceanside.
Students pair up with Oceanside Community Service to collect Thanksgiving food items, including turkeys, and deliver them to homes in Oceanside and the surrounding communities.
It's is a collaborative effort.
Along with Oceanside students and Oceanside Community Service members, community members, PTA members and teachers lend a hand.
This year, thousands of pounds of food were collected and delivered to local homes.
