It doesn’t matter if you’re covered in ink or it’s your first tattoo – everyone is welcomed at Asbury Park’s annual tattoo festival.

The event started on Friday at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel.

"This gives someone the opportunity to get a little sneak peak of like what goes on behind a tattoo shop's walls. If you're curious if you're like, ‘Oh I'm too old,’ this is a great place to come,” says founder and director Jon Lane.

The festival runs until 8 p.m. Sunday.
