The Animal Cares Center of New York City says more than 100 dogs have been rescued from a Mill Basin home where police say a 73-year-old woman was found dead.
The ACC arrived back to the scene Friday morning just before 12 p.m. after the mandatory vacate order was placed on the building on Thursday.
At least seven more dogs were rescued from the home, with one dead and another rushed away for emergency medical treatment.
The ACC says there are still more dogs inside the home, which remains an active scene.
