While tens of millions of people around the world tune in to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, a Connecticut company will take centerstage.
For four straight years, Enhance a Colour, a large format printing and display company in Danbury, has made the red carpet for the annual parade.
"Where the parade starts, we've printed 60 feet by 15 feet, which is two panels," co-owner Jim O'Connor says. "A lot of people walk on it."
EAC makes a lot of things for some of the world's biggest events and companies.
Just this past May, it printed carpets for the Met Gala.
"It's all in how hard you work and how hard you hustle," O'Connor says. "You can't ask for a better day."
The machine that printed this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade red carpet is one-of-a-kind, O'Connor says, nothing else like it really exists anywhere else.
"If you're willing to work, you can be successful in Connecticut," he says. "We just want to wish everyone a really happy Thanksgiving."
