An 8-year-old was reunited Friday with the heroes who saved his life in an icy pond.
The rescue was all caught on police body cameras.
Two officers and a sergeant jumped in the water, one even sliding on the ice, to pull Tayvion from chest-deep water.
"The water reached his chest, and the icy conditions made it difficult for him to get out, if not impossible to get out," says Suffolk Police Commissioner Kevin Catalina.
"I crawled down out on the ice and when I got to him, I actually fell through the ice and I was able to stand, so I grabbed him and started making my way to shore," says Highway Sgt. Michael Santillo.
Tayvion wasn't injured but was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
He says he felt scared and is thankful for the help of Santillo and 5th Precinct Officers James Rizzo and Andrew Tirelli.
"When we got that call of the child falling through the ice, you kind of don't really analyze it too much, someone needs help," says Tirelli.
Tayvion agrees.
"Don't walk on the ice," he says.
