4ds agoPolice identified the pedestrian who was killed in Wednesday crash in Farmingville.
Police say a Toyota driving eastbound struck Luis Canales while he was walking on Horseblock Road.
The 71-year-old Farmingville man was taken to Stony Brook Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene and was not injured.
Detectives as anyone with information about the crash to call the Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
