2ds agoA 7-year-old boy who was struck by a car in Airmont on Jan. 8 has died, according to police.
The crash occurred on New County Road, where the child ran into traffic and was hit by a southbound vehicle.
The boy was initially taken to Good Samaritan Hospital and later transferred to Westchester Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been cooperating with the investigation.
