Police are searching for seven male teens who they say slashed and robbed a 15-year-old in Mott Haven.
The group approached the boy in front of 361 East 135th St. on Dec. 12 around 3:30 p.m.
Authorities say the boy was slashed in the face during the ambush before the robbers forcibly removed his shoes.
EMS took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he is listed in stable condition.
Police say the suspects are approximately 14 to 17 years old.
The NYPD urges anyone with information to call its Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
