Six teenage boys have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Baldwin, according to Nassau police.
Police say officers responded to Van Buren Street at approximately 5:15 p.m. on May 22 and found the victim suffering from stab wounds. The teen was transported to a hospital for treatment. Investigators also recovered a knife at the scene.
According to police, three suspects were arrested shortly after the incident, while three others surrendered to authorities on Sunday.
The suspects include two 16-year-olds and four 17-year-olds. All six are charged with assault, gang assault, criminal possession of a weapon and menacing.
Police say the victim was found outside a home on Van Buren Street and has been uncooperative with investigators.
Police have not said what led to the attack or where the incident began.
