Six Bronxites, including firefighters, were injured in an early morning fire in Riverdale.
The FDNY says it was difficult to fight the fire against the wind, with nearly 80 first responders battling the flames and extinguishing the blaze after about an hour.
Video posted on the Citizen App shows a ladder extended to the top of a 23-story high-rise residential building at 5900 Arlington Ave.
Firefighters got the call shortly after 10 a.m. after reports of a fire on the eighth floor.
Paramedics say two neighbors were injured along with four firefighters who are now recovering from minor injuries.
As of Thursday night, fire marshals are investigating the cause of the fire.
