A fire Sunday night has displaced five adults and sent one firefighter to the hospital for heat exhaustion.

The fire occurred around 10 p.m. on Flint Lane in Jericho.

It took about 50 firefighters nearly 30 minutes to fight the fire, Nassau County fire officials said.

Jericho Fire Department was the host agency, with six mutual-aid agencies assisting.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
