4 arrested after thousands of cocaine vials worth over $200,000 seized in drug delivery service bust
A drug delivery service that had been operating out of a luxury Bronx apartment building was taken down following a long-term investigation led by the New York City special narcotics unit on Sunday.
Investigators seized over 22 pounds . of cocaine, two guns, and more than $200,000 in cash.
“From their base in a residential building in the Bronx, these four defendants distributed copious amounts of drugs across New York City,” said NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch.
Prosecutors say Ermes Jimenez, 28, supplied drivers from his apartment on Lincoln Ave in Port Morris, where agents later found more than 1,000 cocaine‑filled vials, a loaded handgun, ammunition, and money‑counting machines.
Three drivers — Eddy Ruiz‑De La Rosa, 37; Jonathan Rivera, 43; and Jordan Machuca, 28 — were arrested in separate stops across the city. Searches of their vehicles turned up additional cocaine packaged in vials, cash hidden in trap compartments, and a handgun.
Prosecutors say the group delivered cocaine across Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, using the apartment building as a pickup point.
All four men are charged with first and third‑degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Jimenez and Rivera also face firearm charges.
