Half of the wire fraud convictions against former Connecticut State Sen. Dennis Bradley were dropped by a judge Friday.

A jury found Bradley defrauded the state out of $84,000 in campaign funds.

The judge ruled that three of the counts did not qualify as interstate commerce.

Bradley will be sentenced on the remaining convictions on Dec. 3.
