Firefighters in Norwalk Friday night put out a house fire on Silk Street. Crews said they saw flames coming from the garage and basement alongside heavy smoke within the home. Three adults were safely evacuated with a dog trapped inside that was later rescued and transported to a veterinarian. The residents are now displaced. It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
