Three people accused of stealing a woman's BMW at a gas pump in Greenwich are facing multiple charges.
A post on the Westchester County Police Department’s Facebook page says Greenwich police reached out to Real Time Crime Center “in a high-priority case involving a crew targeting high-end vehicles.”
It says the trio fled when they were approached by authorities in a Home Depot parking lot. Two were immediately taken into custody and a third was eventually found “hiding under a seat inside a Con Ed vehicle.”
Their names were not immediately released.
The trio was charged with criminal possession of a stolen vehicle and conspiracy.
They are believed to be responsible for multiple vehicle thefts across the region.
