The Brooklyn District Attorney’s office is calling it one of the largest takedowns in the history of the office.

Twenty-two alleged gang members have been charged in connection to more than two dozen shootings across the city.

The Brooklyn DA says all but five defendants are charged with attempted murder for allegedly pulling the trigger during a shooting.

The connected shootings span between October 2022 and most recently December 2025.

There were 23 victims in these shootings - including one death.

The defendants face a slew of charges including conspiracy to commit murder and second-degree murder.
