20 phones swiped from concertgoers at Brooklyn Paramount
Twenty phones were swiped from concertgoers at the Brooklyn Paramount, according to the NYPD.
The pick-pocketing spree took place during a Hot Mulligan concert on Nov. 7.
Police say the victims discovered their phones were missing at around 8:30 p.m. while inside the Downtown Brooklyn music hall.
The phones were turned off after the theft and could not be tracked.
No arrests have been made.
According to a spokesperson for the NYPD, pickpocket complaints are down 11% citywide, with 1,318 incidents so far this year compared to 1,474 in 2024.
News 12 reached out to Live Nation, the music hall’s operator, and is awaiting a response.
