Police are searching for two people who they say stole a 37-year-old woman’s car and then hit her with it as she attempted to stop them.
It happened at around 5 p.m. Sunday at 674 Allerton Ave.
According to the NYPD, the woman left her dark gray Honda CR-V running in front of a store and went inside. She then noticed two people in a dark vehicle parked in front of her car.
One person stepped out of the car, got into hers and drove off. Police say the woman tried to stop the theft and was struck by her own car.
The woman suffered minor injuries to her legs and turned down medical attention.
Her stolen Honda is worth around $10,000, according to investigators.
Police say both alleged thieves are male. One was last seen wearing a black mask while the other wore a white mask.
