According to a United Airlines spokesperson, Flight 2172 encountered turbulence during the final service phase of the flight. The Airbus A319 was carrying 121 passengers and five crew members at the time of the incident. United officials said the flight landed safely. The flight attendants were seen by medical personnel after landing. No other injuries were reported.
