Two teenagers were stabbed and a third was injured during a brawl at a high school in Kingsbridge Heights, police say.
Officers responded to a large fight at 100 West Mosholu Parkway South just after 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
The NYPD says a 19-year-old man was stabbed in the hip, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the abdomen and another 17-year-old suffered injuries to the face and body.
Paramedics took all three teens to Jacobi Hospital, where police say they are all expected to recover.
The campus houses multiple high schools, including DeWitt Clinton High School and Bronx Collaborative High School.
It was not immediately clear if the brawl happened inside one of the schools.
The New York City Department of Education released the following statement:
"This senseless act of violence is deeply concerning. School staff and NYPD School Safety Agents immediately responded to an incident today following all protocols. We are grateful that no students were seriously hurt, and we are conducting a full investigation in partnership with the NYPD.”
