2h agoTwo Long Island women were killed in a boat crash in Maine.
Officials say the boat 53-year-old Farhana Nasir and 23-year-old Kiran Akbar were riding on was headed toward a beach when it flipped after its front went under water on Saturday.
Nasir, of Selden, and Akbar, of Lake Grove, were killed.
Officials say none of the seven people on board were wearing a life jacket.
A cause of the crash was not immediately known.
