A fire left two people hurt early Monday morning in Washington Heights, according to authorities.
Officials say the two-alarm blaze began on the third floor of the apartment building on West 162nd Street. Firefighters responded to a call reporting the incident around 12 a.m.
One victim was hospitalized in critical condition. The other remains in serious but stable condition.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
