Two people were injured, one critically, after a Mercedes Van struck them Sunday morning in Marble Hill, according to police.

Investigators say it happened on Broadway and 225th Street around 10:30 a.m.

A 41-year-old man was driving the Mercedes and turning onto 225th Street when he struck two people who were crossing the street.

Both were taken to St. Barnabus Hospital.

Police told News 12 a 71-year-old woman is in critical condition and a 64-year-old man is expected to be OK.

Detectives say the driver stayed on scene and there were no arrests.
