2-month-long investigation leads to Bridgeport narcotics arrest
The Bridgeport Police Task Force and the FBI conducted a two-month-long investigation into illegal sales of narcotics by 40-year-old Joseph Moss.
The investigation led to search warrants for Moss, his vehicle, and his residence located on Olive Street in Bridgeport.
On April 28, the task force executed their search warrants and found an illegal 1911 firearm with 10 mm rounds, a loaded magazine containing seven rounds of 9 mm ammunition, and an additional 46 rounds of ammunition.
Officers also recovered approximately 100 grams of cocaine, 50 ecstasy pills, and 50 pressed pills, which officers believe to contain fentanyl.
Narcotics-packaging materials, three digital scales used to weigh and package narcotics for street-level distribution, were also found during the investigation.
Moss was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
